Seventh Edition of #SixSentenceSunday: Cup-O-Blood

This is the seventh edition of Six Sentence Sunday!  Today’s excerpt is from Chapter Twenty-Four of the first book in The Williamson Vampires Series.  This is another “Chloe Chapter.”

If you remember, Chapter Twenty-Four is also “the lost” chapter.  Last year, my computer ate it twice, and then my hard drive had died on me.  I’m FINALLY finished this chapter…for the third time.  Like my vacation time, I’m certain that it’s cursed, so I’ve been avoiding writing it.  ;)  Hubby’s computer died while I was working on this chapter the other week.  Read at your own peril!  LOL  ;)

“You want to eat by yourself?  Why?  What are you going to do?  You just plan on sitting there all alone, in the dark, on your futon, drinking cup-o-blood?  That doesn’t like very much fun.”

“Feeding is not about…fun, not anymore.”

Have a great day!  :)

I approach her, but stopped when a strange noise rumbled from under the covers that sounded like…a growl?  Did she growl at me?  Clearly she was not a morning person.  She must have been dreaming.  She’d warned me not to be shocked by some of the things she might say in her sleep, but she hadn’t warned me about animal noises.  I giggled at the absurdity of such a beautiful woman, growling like a panther ready to attack, and left her alone.

Fifth Edition of #SixSentenceSunday

So this is the fifth editon of Six Sentence Sunday.  I chose another Chloe excerpt for today’s viewing.  This is from the first book in The Williamson Vampires Series, Chapter Two.

I loved Uncle Jason as much as if he really was my biological uncle, but his wife seemed to go crazy over too many insignificant details.  I never realized the scope of how difficult she was to please until I moved into Uncle Jason’s study.  The morning after my father passed away, I’d forgotten to fold up the torture device they saved for guests, cleverly disguised as a chair.  It turned into a bed that resembled a maxi pad.  Seeing it out and unfolded had sent her into a rage.  She threatened to make me sleep on the floor if I ever forgot to put it away again.

Happy New Year’s Edition of #SixSentenceSunday

A new year has started and I’m excited.  I think this will be the year that I FINALLY will be able to let my stories go off into the universe!  Six Sentence Sundays have been a great way to build my confidence up.  I don’t know why I’m self-conscious of my WIPs.  It’s just something I’ll have to get over.  This edition is from Chapter Two of the first book in The Williamson Vampires Series.

“I think you’re going to like Bobbi.  I saw her this morning and she is exactly how I remembered her.”

“If she’s so great, why didn’t the two of you stay together?”  My question may have been pointed, but I felt it was valid.  She was his ex after all, which meant that he must have felt that he’d made an improvement by marrying Aunt Stephanie instead of my Aunt Roberta.  I didn’t know anything about love or romance, but it seemed reasonable to assume that the whole point of dating was to keep upgrading until you found a keeper.

Wishing everyone success and happiness in the New Year!

Third Edition of #SixSentenceSunday

Three editions of Six Sentence Sunday!  I’m on a roll.  WEEEEE!!!!!!!  This is an excerpt from Chapter Twenty-Four of the first book in The Williamson Vampires Series.

I like to call this the “LOST” chapter because my computer ate this chapter twice, and then the hard drive died on me.

“Show me which button to push and you may be excused.”

“What happened here?  Why is there blood all over?  Oh my gosh!”  The rotten stench seemed to be getting worse.  “What did you do?”

*****

There’s a reason why 2,500-year-old vampires shouldn’t be left home alone!

Have a great day!
