Here are the last of the photos from Hell, Michigan.  It’s the tiniest town ever.  If you blink, you could miss it!  Despite the name, it’s a beautiful and peaceful area.  Lots of woods, trees, and critters.  The hubby and I really enjoyed our Monday’s day trip in Hell.  We’d gladly go back any time.

Going to the Chapel in Hell

Today my hubby and I are celebrating eleven years of being married to one another.  YAY!!!!    My hubby is a wonderful man.  I’m so happy to have him in my life.  We are an odd couple, but our quirks have matched us together nicely.  I thought these photos of our Monday, October 24, 2011 day trip in Hell, Michigan seemed strangely appropriate.

This is a REAL wedding chapel.  People get married here just so they can say “They started their marriage in Hell, it can only get better from here.”  Maybe the hubby and I should have renewed our wedding vows?  With me and my horrible luck, we could use all the good karma we can get!

More Photos of Hell

These Photos were taken on Monday, October 24, 2011 in Hell, Michigan.  We decided to have lunch at the Hell in a Hand Basket Country Store.  We were going to eat at The Dam Site Inn, but it was closed due to a fire they had on Saturday, October 22, 2011.  This was also the day I started my vacation.  Did I mention my bad vacation luck?  Yeah…I was at a memorial service at the time…but still…WTF!!!

The food at the Handbasket was great.  Lots of fun stuff to look at while we waited for our food.  We even got to see the mail being “singed” at the Post Office with a candle, kind of cool to watch!
